This book is about John and Savannah and their love story. John is in the army and meets Savannah during his leave. Their relationship blossoms over time and does extremely well until 9/11 happens. This book is also about John's father and their relationship together. He grows apart from his dad, until he meets Savannah and then he begins to understand his dad better
Nicholas Sparks is such a poetic and beautiful writer when it comes to romance. He does an outstanding job of making the readers connect with the characters
so far all books of nicholas sparks never failed to make me cry. i envy his characters because they can feel, they love, they make mistakes and they move on cherishing the feelings they go through. they may just be characters in a story but they teach you how to live!
