Description
From the #1 New York Times bestselling author of The Immortals comes a breathtaking new saga brimming with magic, mystery, and an intoxicating love story that will steal your heart away. Meet The Soul Seekers.
Strange things are happening to Daire Santos. Crows mock her, glowing people stalk her, time stops without warning, and a beautiful boy with unearthly blue eyes haunts all her dreams. Fearing for her daughter’s sanity, Daire’s mother sends her to live with the grandmother she’s never met. A woman who recognizes the visions for what they truly are—the call to her destiny as a Soul Seeker—one who can navigate the worlds between the living and dead.

There on the dusty plains of Enchantment, New Mexico, Daire sets out to harness her mystical powers. But it’s when she meets Dace, the boy from her dreams, that her whole world is shaken to its core. Now Daire is forced to discover if Dace is the one guy she's meant to be with...or if he’s allied with the enemy she's destined to destroy.

Review
It's about a girl named Daire, who started seeing strange things such as glowing people and thousands of crows. She freaked out when she first seen them which made everyone think she was going crazy. Soon after, her Mother sends her off to live with her Grandmother because she thinks Daire is having a mental breakdown. Her Grandmother knows exactly what's happening to her though and we soon find out that Daire is a Soul Seeker which is when a person can shift between the living and dead. And so she starts on her journey to find her full potential.

I really liked this story! It was so different from the rest of Alyson's work so it was very refreshing. The story was something new: nothing about being immortal, vampires, aliens and all of the other popular stuff .The book definitely sucked me in and I was hooked from the very beginning! Each time I finished a chapter, I was dying to continue reading to see what happens next.

The character's were great too. I've seen a lot of reviews about this book with everyone calling Daire annoying. I have to disagree. I actually liked her and she didn't bother me in the slightest. She had dept, definitely. When the visions started, she freaked out just like any other normal human being would. She got pissed off when she was basically shipped off to live with her Grandmother, who, by the way, Daire never even met before. If it was you in the same situation, I don't think you would be quite happy about it either. Overall, she was fun, serious when needed to be, caring, brave and strong. Just the way I like my female-leads.

And, of course, we have a bit of romance with the incredibly hot and charming Dace. I adored everything about him! His and Daire's relationship was pretty awesome too. The first time they actually had a conversation was adorable! I'm dying to see how this is going to play out in the sequel.

The cover was what drew me to this book. It is absolutely gorgeous!
The girl is so pretty! I love, love, love her hair and the earrings are beautiful too. I think they picked the perfect font too for the title.

Overall, I loved this book! I would definitely recommend it. If you've read The Immortals series but weren't too fond of it and you're afraid this is basically going to be the same thing, don't worry. It's not. I definitely like this one better.
